Put in a large saucepan:

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 onion, finely chopped

and saute for about 5 minutes until onions are caramel brown.

Next add:

2 Chinese Sausages, thinly sliced

1 cup of sliced shiitake mushrooms

1 cup of Malabar spinach, finely chopped

and mix well for 2 minutes.  Next add:

1 cup of mead (or white wine)

1/2 tsp white pepper

salt to taste

Bring to boil and then cover with a tightly.  Reduce the heat and simmer for 25 minutes.

Serves 4.
