Take:
200g of Lean Minced Pork
and marinate for one hour with the following:
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 small onion finely chopped
3 tbsp tangerine zest, finely chopped
8-14 sliced bird chilli peppers (optional)
Heat up a cast iron skillet with: Put in a deep pan:
1 tbsp coconut oil
and shape the marinated meat into burgers. Dust with flour on both sides. Brown burgers on skillet , cover and cook on low-medium heat for 20 minutes.
Next, take burgers out of skillet, set aside and turn the flame to high heat.
Then, add:
1 tbsp of brown sugar
and wait until the sugar starts to melt. Next, add:
peeled tangerine (sliced and quartered)
handful of greens (sweet potato greens), sliced finely
and stir ingredients well to ensure uniform coverage of melted sugar.
Serve burgers with Tangerine Zest Bread with a side of Caramelised Tangerine. Serves 2.
