These are cinnamon buns with a difference; instead of butter, cacao butter has been used. It gives a rich, luxurious taste with mellow undertones of chocolate.

This one is an easy recipe!
Cream the following in a mixing bowl:
1/2 cup cacao butter (melt in pot on stove top and allow to cool before using)
1/4 cup brown sugar
Next add:
3 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/4 tsp yeast
1 cup milk
Mix dough well and let sit until doubles in bulk. Punch down and roll out flat onto a board. Spread the following on the surface of the dough:
1/4 cup melted cacao butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
Roll up tightly and then cut into 1 inch thick pieces. Arrange in glass dish and bake at 180C (350F) for 45 minutes.
Eat plain or if feeling particularly decadent, icing of your choice.
